Bryce was in a tragic brush fire accident on December 13, 2016. He was admitted to Arkansas Children’s hospital 3^rd degree burns on 80% of his body. He battled his wounds and infection for nearly six days while his family and friends stood by his side. Infection and the severity of his injuries were too much for anyone to overcome, and he went to be with the lord December 18, 2016. Bryce was the definition of a fighter. His physical, mental, and spiritual strength were evident in all aspects of his life. Bryce graduated from Lake Hamilton High School in 2016 where he was a 13-year senior. He started playing team sports at the age of four and played on numerous competitive and traveling teams until high school where he played varsity football and baseball grades 10-12. In 2015, he received All-Conference 6A South defensive back, All Garland County defensive back, and Lake Hamilton High School Baseball Most Versatile Player. He was also a two-time All-Conference 6A South baseball player and hit for cycle his senior year. He was an original board member of the Lake Hamilton Bassin’ Wolves fishing team where he finished top ten in the state tournament qualifying for the regional tournament in Shreveport, LA in 2016. He took many AP classes and graduated with honors as well.  He was very involved with the Oaklawn Baptist Church youth ministry and was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Bryce completed one semester of college at Arkansas Tech University majoring in mechanical engineering with a GPA of 3.06. He was an avid hunter and fisherman that respected wildlife. His friends considered Bryce to be an all-American guy without a speck of arrogance. He was a team player in all aspects of his life and never wanted anyone to feel left out. His mission in life seemed to be of service to his fellow man through genuine friendship and constant consideration of other people’s feelings.
